Delete Account or Workspace
Instructions for permanently removing your Quant Desk account or workspace, and a clear breakdown of what data is deleted and what may be retained.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Please export any data you need before proceeding. Account and workspace data are deleted within 90 days of a deletion request. Billing records are retained for 7 years as required by law.
1. Delete Your Personal Account
Any agent, supervisor, or admin can permanently delete their own Quant Desk account directly from within the app.

Open the app and locate the navigation bar
In the Quant Desk app (web or mobile), look at the top-right corner of the navigation bar.

Click the user icon
Tap or click the user / profile icon in the top-right corner. A dropdown menu will appear.

Select "My Profile" from the dropdown
In the dropdown, click "My Profile". This opens your personal profile settings page.

Scroll to the bottom of the My Profile page
Scroll down to the bottom of the My Profile page to find the account-deletion section.

Click "Delete Account"
Tap the red "Delete Account" button. You will be asked to confirm this action. Once confirmed, your account deletion is initiated immediately.
2. Delete an Entire Workspace
Deleting a workspace permanently removes all conversations, tickets, contacts, agents, and settings for that workspace. This action can only be performed by the Super Admin of the workspace.

Go to the Settings page
Log in as the Super Admin of the workspace, then navigate to the Settings page from the main sidebar.

Open the "General" tab
Inside Settings, click the General tab at the top of the settings panel.

Scroll to the bottom of the General tab
Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the General tab to reveal the danger zone section.

Click "Delete Workspace"
Click the "Delete Workspace" button. You will be prompted to confirm by typing your workspace name. Once confirmed, the workspace and all its data are permanently deleted.
3. What Data Is Deleted & What Is Retained
- Your profile (name, email, photo, job title)
- Login credentials and authentication tokens
- All conversations, tickets, and chat messages
- Contact and company records
- Automation rules and canned responses
- Inbox configuration and channel connections
- API keys and integration credentials
- Team member accounts and role assignments
- Workspace subdomains and settings
- Reports and analytics history

Billing invoices and payment records
Retained for 7 years — tax and accounting compliance -
Anonymised, aggregated usage statistics
Non-identifiable data used to improve the platform -
Security audit logs referencing your account
Retained for up to 90 days for fraud investigation -
Encrypted backup snapshots
Purged within 30 days of deletion from backups
All personal account data and workspace data are fully deleted within 90 days of the deletion request being submitted. During this period the account or workspace is deactivated and inaccessible.
